Hi everyone!
This weekend it was back to our old home track the Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite for
a ASCS sooner race. The weather was great but the car count was low as we only had 21
cars sign in.
Jessica drew for me again and pulled a # 36 starting us in heat one inside row 4. The track
was a little greasy and stayed that was most of the night. When the flag dropped in our heat
race I was able to move up to fifth coming off turn 2 then work my way to 4th by the end of
the race as there was very little passing as the track was fast.
That started us inside row 6 for the feature. At the start of the feature we got a great start
and got by a few cars in turn 1 and after a few more laps we had made our way to 7th by
about lap 10 then going into turn 4 our motor broke and our night was done.
Again we would like to thank everyone that stopped and said hi along with our sponsors.
Our next race will be in two weeks at Cowtown for the national show. Be sure to check out
the Cowtown web site to as they are going to have Fan Fest so you will be able to come
into the pit area before the races to meet the drivers, get pictures & autographs.
