The Lang14 and Palm Harbor Homes crew headed out to Heart of Texas Speedway in Waco, TX Friday March 30 for an
eventful night of racing. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Jessica drew #25 which started us in the back of the first
heat race. We fought our way through the field and ended up finishing second in the heat. In the redraw we drew eighth,
we were moving our way up through the field and was close to fifth when our motor blew and we had to pull off the track.
We would like to thank the Palm Harbor Homes crew for coming out and supporting us, and making it extra fun for the fans.
Saturday March 31, we had originally planned on going to Willis to race. After blowing our motor the night before in Waco it
was up in the air if we would be able to get everything done or not. We spent all Saturday morning switching out the
motors and got the car ready to go. We started sixth in the heat race, and raced our way up to 3rd. My mom redraw me four
in the pill draw. Starting the A we were fast and working our way up the front, around lap 10 we wrecked with another racer.
Luckily we were able to keep going, and took the checkered for seventh, with a flat left front and a bent drag link. I would
like to thank all my Sponsors, my Mom, Dad, and Jessica for all of the help and support this week.
PS Please come out and support us Saturday night in Kilgore at Lonestar Speedway. Should be a good night of racing and
fun! Hope to see y'all there. Have a good week.
Spike and Crew.
